fly-by april
It took a little longer than usual to gather (most of) the shots for April's London vs. Paris exercise. Waiting for the right day for a foot shot, knowing a birthday party was just around the corner, forgetting the camera from time to time: the usual delays, I suppose.
In a month that has been filled with more frustrations than I'd like, this little game gave me something to stride out of the house and DO, with purpose.
I'm thankful for that, as well as for the explosion of spring blossoms around these parts, which made it hard to choose just one shot below. More to come, I'm sure.
As the gorgeousness of new green leaves budding envelopes our view of the lake, and frames our walks into town, I'm reminded not to let the narrative here fall too neatly into the photo-description track. Next time I promise to post a few more photos chosen spontaneously, and a few more stories about how our time here is shaping up.
